It was one of the treatments I thought would be most effective. However, I'm now on 40mg OxyContin daily to manage my pain. It saved my life. It's likely that methadone treatment would have done the same. Unfortunately, methadone is even more vilified than OxyContin... And I had to go through a very literal hell to obtain Oxy...
